It's been a while since I've tried anything from AVON and when I received an email with a free shipping code I jumped at the chance of ordering some things. I ordered this lipstick and one of their eyeshadow quads. This lipstick attracted my attention because I've had extremely dry dehydrated lips and it does claim to have a hydrating gloss. According to Avon, it glides on smoothly and it's infused with Vitamin E.
I purchased Guava since I'm on the coral kick and it looked nice on the brochure. When I swatched it I noticed that the color does not match the brochure (they never do). It's suppose to be a lip color wrapped in a clear gloss. Well to me it seems like a lip gloss period. The consistency is NOT goopy like a gloss is but it does go on really sheer. It's really shiny and it does feel moisturizing on the lips.
You can tell by my swatch how sheer it is. It has a fruity smell but nothing that over powers the lip stick/gloss. If you like sheer lipsticks then this is for you. I love the concept of this but it should be just a hydrating gloss because in my opinion it does not have the color pop of a lipstick.

Good review! I was interested in buying a bunch of these but I might just try out one. I kind of like that they seem so sheer but then again I have so many lip products that are sheer. Lol Thanks for the review! :D

I think you'll like it, if you like sheer lipsticks. They are really moisturizing and I like the way they smell. It's a good alternative to wearing a heavy lipstick for Spring and Summer :)
