Our Family survived Christmas. We had a very good time. We had so much dessert left over that we had to take some home. All in all it was one of the best Christmas's to remember. Here are so shots of that night. Enjoy, I know we did :)

I have been out for a while and not posting. I guess life gets in the way sometimes. Since I said that this would also be a blog about beauty I must add a few things. With the economy the way it is I have noticed some things changing in the beauty industry. In the past two weeks I have received emails from companies such as Bobbi Brown, Prescriptives, Keihls, MAC and Origins having sales on makeup and skin products. Now for those of you who are beauty addicts like me know that these companies do not really have sales like this. Bobbi Brown and Origins have their friends and family sales at 20% off regular price items. But I got a good deal at MAC only their Holiday sets are on sale but I scored a brush set for $30.00!!!! Not bad, now I just wish Estee Lauder would have some sort of sale :) well I'll keep you posted and informed.

As for my hobby jewelry I will continue making and creating after the Holidays.

Back Home

I've been away for a couple of days. It's been rough but it sure feels good to be back home. I promise, promise to have new earrings up and new bracelets up by Sunday.

I made some earrings that I'm really proud of. I also made the matching bracelet but I need to tweak it and make it with a clasp. The picture is not the best but hopefully I'll be getting a new camera and the pictures will improve.

Here is some more bracelets that I have made. I use whatever materials that catch my eye. It can be silver, pewter, crystal, plastic you name it I like and work with it. I will be opening my shop soon and I will have free shipping.

Green Kittys

I made this bracelet for all those kitten or cat lovers. I think it's really cute. Measures 7 1/2 inches long and can be shorten or made longer.

New Bracelet

I made this bracelet with the intention of making it simple and an easy piece. It has stretchy wire so that you can just slide it on. I love the simplicity of it and the pastel colors to it. The pastel colors are swarovski crystals and the cubes are crystal.

Acheron

I came across this book and I thought I'd give it a chance. This has to be without a doubt one of the best books I have read. I love Sherrilyn Kenyon and have become and instant fan of hers. Since Acheron was not the first book in the Dark Hunter series I, of course had to hunt the first one down and read it in two days. I'd LOVE to meet Acheron.......

Weekend

X-mas List

I know it is too early for Christmas but here is one of the things I must have. Well OK, I don't really need it but I'm lemming it. I can tell Summer is over because my skin is extremely dry. I am suffering from dry parched skin. Yes, I know I need to drink more water but I really want this night cream... I can dream......

In the beginning there was......

a clueless girl named Liz. She wanted to start a blog but had no idea how. Liz has an etsy store and loves making jewelry. She went on a quest to ask questions and to my relief I found answers. Thank you to MaryMarsh for being such a patient person by teaching me the basics. I have found a good friend and more important I have become a fan of her work.
