I just saw this at Rite Aid and was itching to buy it but was not on sale. All of the $3 dollar peelies were missing except for one. But as you can see from the prices they are not cheap. The collection has a concealer, BB cream for the face and a powder which I find interesting. Have you seen this?

Physicians Formula PH Matchmaker Blush Review & Swatches
Physicians Formula has let me down in a couple of recent purchases and to be honest I thought this one was going to be another one of those items. I was pleasantly surprised to find this was a good purchase if worn sparingly. I'll get to that a little later. I bought it at CVS on sale for like 40% off and it had a coupon attached to it. It was not a bad deal at all. I picked up the color Natural 7559. According to the package it instantly matches you in 60 seconds. It has a 14 hour wear and it has a PH power complex to transform into your perfectly personalized hue. One cool feature it has is that the compact lights up with LED lights. So in case you want to touch up at night you now have light.
So in other words it's going to be the perfect match for your skin tone every time you apply it. And if you apply it on someone else the effect will be different. OK, so let's try it and see the verdict.
It has some shimmer to it on the outside edges but once that is gone the blush is a little shimmery but not too much you don't really notice it. It has no smell which is nice. I applied it with a MAC blush brush. I did not know how it was going to adapt to my skin tone so I applied it very lightly. And with the first application it was very natural. I guess it matches it's name Natural. To be honest, I did not see it change color from the way it was on my hand to the application on my cheek. I swatched it on my hand various ways, lightly and a a heavier swatch as well. The pic of my hand is a heavier swatch. In my opinion it's just like any blush you put on. If you want to look like a clown you will over apply blush, no matter what color it is. But if you apply it lightly it will look good. I do like this blush very much and for the price you can't beat it. Every blush will look different on everyone just like a foundation and concealer will. It did last an 8 hour day but I did not test the 14 hour wear that it claims to have. It's a very natural pink blush that I do think will look good on everyone. Just be careful when applying it, I do think that it has the potential of looking too pink form some skin tones, especially the lighter ones.
I'm curious to try their matchmaker powder.

Review Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Lipstick
I'm a sucker for cute packaging and anything pink, include some hearts and I'm there especially with makeup. I have the PF Happy blush and I like the color payoff and it does make me happy to put it on. What caught my eye on this packaging was that it says luminous color + lip boosting effect. I'm not sure what lip boosting means but OK I'll give it a try. There were two colors a pink and nude and I chose the nude. This is what the back of the box says:
Look Happy! Gives lips a boost of Happy Color
Rich color glides on with luminous shine and all day comfort for a happy glow.
Lip boosting formula with collagen boosting peptides smoothes lips so the look plump, healthy and luscious.
Three complementary shades blend together for a kiss of glowing color to boost your mood.
Feel Happy! Experience the Mood Boosting Effect
Infused with our Happy Boost Blend featuring Happy Skin and Euphoryl, natural plant extracts which have been shown to promote a feeling of happiness by mimicking the effect of endorphins and helping protect the skin from environmental stress.
The sweet scent and flavor of Violet provides a feeling of joy each time you apply.
Well that was a mouthful. So, not only does it plump the lips with peptides it actually boosts my mind with endorphins and the Violet smell will make me happy as well. WOW heck yes, I want to try this wonderful lipstick. OK here is the review
The Good:
- The packaging is the cutest I've ever seen and the marketing strategy is genius.
- This is Hypoallergenic and Paraben Free.
- There are two shades a pink one and a nude one
- The heart on the lipstick makes me happy.
- The color is suppose to be nude when it's actually a bright pink coral shade.
- The texture is horrible it's suppose to plump up the lip and upon first application it felt chalky.
- If you have dry lips Stay Away from this, it will accentuate dryness on the lips.
- Upon second application it felt more smooth but the texture is still bad.
My verdict is for you to stay away from this and not purchase it at all. I tried applying this with lip balm to see if it would work and it did not. The pictures are the best that I could take and the last one seems like it is moisturizing but it's not. The color reminds me of what a grandma would wear, bright pink coral that just makes her lips look 100 times worse. It was suppose to make me feel happy and I'm not happy. I'm mad at PF right now. I purchased two new items and both were bad. This will be going back and I might try one of their new mineral wear powders and see if I have better luck there.

Review Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Trio
First of all let me say Happy New Year! When I saw these I knew I had to have them. I was thinking they would be almost like my beloved shimmer strips gel cream liners that they have. I just thought that this would be easier since they are in pencil form and the words Kohl Kajal made me think the black was going to be very black. The box says Enhance and Define Brown Eyes and it says it's 100% waterproof which also made me excited. I picked the one for Brown Eyes and it has a black, Espresso (brown) and purple liners and they do have some slight shimmer to them. I have oily lids and whatever is 100% waterproof or does not budge is a must for me. OK well these totally disappointed me and they will be going back. There are good and bad things to these but here it is in a nutshell.
The Good:
- They are creamy and glide on very smoothly
- They come in pencil form which is more sanitary and easier to use
- The colors are very good and bright
The Bad:
- They DO NOT STAY ON even with a primer.
- The color does not last even with a primer
- Um, yeah they don't stay put.
I guess people can use these in the Inner rim of the eye just like the box says which is why I'm assuming they are 100% waterproof. But I'm not one to line the inner rims of my eyes that much so this is useless for me. Will you be buying these?

New Physicians Formula Makeup
There's a lot of new stuff coming out and I saw this display at my CVS. The new item I see is the Happy Booster lipstick. What is also new is the bronzer and blush which appear to be a 2 in 1 product. I really want to try the lipstick. I like their blush and hopefully their lipstick will be good as well.
Have you seen this product?

Spotted: New Phycisians Formula Products
I walked into my local CVS and spotted some new Physicians Formula products. If you've been hiding under a rock and don't know that CVS and I believe other drug stores have been putting makeup on clearance including a lot of PF. Out with the old in with the new. I spotted some new mineral wear products. They included some new correcting bronzer with 2 shades and airbrushing powder. These look like good products and they are talc-free mineral makeup.
What's your favorite physicians formula product?
